The aims of the Catholic Biblical Association are to promote knowledge and use of the Scriptures, to encourage and support local groups meeting together for study and to collaborate with other biblical associations such as the Bible Society, the Catholic Biblical Federation and the Bible Reading Fellowship. Scripture Bulletin, the journal of the Catholic Biblical Association, is published online twice yearly and through its articles and book reviews aims to keep readers informed of current trends in biblical scholarship. Those with an interest in the work of the Association are invited to join our mailing list by registering for this website or writing to the Hon. Secretary (see below).

The Catholic Biblical Association of Great Britain is delighted to be co-hosting a day conference on the Uses of Scripture in Catholic Prayer, Practice and Theology, on Saturday 10th March 2012, at the University of Durham. This is being organized jointly with the Centre for Catholic Studies, the Newman Assocation, and the Education Service of the Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle.
